Chocolate Workshops

Come and join us in the chocolate room for an afternoon of fun creating your own personalised treat to take home. Indulge yourself or gift your unique custom creation.

Giant Freckle DIY:

Choose from milk or dark Belgian Chocolate and create your own decadent Giant Freckle. Go crazy and have fun adorning your Giant Freckle withan assortment of toppings such freeze dried strawberries, almonds, rose petals, sprinkles, orange slices, mini marshmallows, party mix, pretzels, caramel popcorn and more. While your Giant Freckle is setting, we will talk and taste different types of chocolate from raw 100% cacao, dark, milk, ruby and white. DIY Chocolates Workshop:

An in-depth workshop, involving talking and tasting about different types of chocolate. You will then get your hands busy crafting a selection of chocolates. Chocolate Classes for Children - School Holidays 

Treat your kids to a fun, educational and hands on experience during the school holidays.  Children will have the opportunity to learn about chocolate, taste different types of chocolate as well as get hands on creating their own unique chocolate treats to take home

Classes include:

• Where does chocolate come from? How is it grown and produced?
• Use professional chocolate equipment to produce their take home goodies.
• Package and label their produce. 

During school holiday workshops, children will make:

• Giant speckle
• Marshmallow choc pop

Tour Groups:  Chocolate Demonstrations

The Treat Factory in Berry is the ultimate indulgent stop for your tour group. An essential destination when visiting the Shoalhaven and South Coast. Tour groups may visit any time during business hours to explore and shop. While browsing  during weekdays,  you can look through the window and chocolate and confectionary production. Brunch, Lunch and Treats for Tour Groups

How to find us

The Treat Factory is located in historic Old Creamery Lane, an easy five minute walk or two minute drive from the centre of Berry, on the South Coast of NSW. Only two hours from Sydney or three hours from Canberra, Berry is a beautiful rural escape with excellent shopping, fantastic eateries, wonderful wineries and a splendid landscape.

To get to The Treat Factory from Berry's main street (Queen Street / the Princes Highway), go down Prince Alfred Street and cross the railway tracks. Turn right down Old Creamery Lane, go past the South Coast Dairy and Rural Co-op, and The Treat Factory is at the end on the right side of the lane, opposite lush green fields with local herds of dairy cows.
